Training keeps McGuire firefighters ready for anything
Senior Airman Jonathan Webb, 305th Civil Engineer Squadron driver/operator, puts on a breathable air mask and tightens the straps to create a seal to keep out smoke and poisonous gas. He then puts on a Nomex fire resistant hood to protect his neck and ears from heat and fire. The last step is to put on the fire helmet, which protects the head from injury.
