COMBAT TRUCKERS
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Master Sgt. Joseph Vasquez, NCO in charge of the 70th Medium Truck Detachment armory performs maintenance recently on one of the weapons vehicle operators assigned to the 586th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron use while conducting combat convoy missions in Iraq. Sergeant Vasquez, deployed from the 305th Security Forces Squadron, McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., provides security and accountability of all weapons for the MTD, as well as issuing out weapons for each mission and doing any in-house maintenance on the weapons.
