COMBAT TRUCKERS
SOUTHWEST ASIA – These American patriots are on their way home following a six-month deployment with the 494th Gun Truck Detachment in northern Iraq supporting the Army’s in-lieu-of tasking running gun truck security escort duty for the third country national line haul missions being conducted throughout Iraq in 2004. These combat warriors are the first 13 women to complete the Basic Combat Convoy Course, dubbed BC3, on June 6, 2004, prior to taking on their new mission set for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
