UC announces holiday contest winners

The United Communities staff recently announced the award winners for their holiday candy counting and coloring contests. Each winner received a personalized certificate for their accomplishment along with a prize. Pictured back row (left to right), Amber Stadler, UC Fun Committee coordinator; Abby Ferson, 11, who won most creative in the coloring contest; Tyler Ferson, 12, who won first place in the coloring contest 10 years and up category; and Krista Logan, UC Fun Committee coordinator. Front row (left to right), Haylee Simonsen, 9, who guessed closest to the amount of candy; Sean Watson, 5, who won first place in the coloring contest under 5 years category; and Alexis Hovay, 6, who won first place in the coloring contest 6-to-8 years category. UC hosts contests and craft nights for each holiday. Upcoming holiday events will be held for Valentine’s Day, Easter and Mother’s Day.
