Expeditionary Center's 421st CTS participates in NYC's Tunnel to the Towers run
A formation of cadre from the 421st Combat Training Squadron from the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, Fort Dix, N.J. render their salute during the singing of the National Anthem prior to the start of the Tunnel to Towers 5-kilometer Run/Walk in New York City Sept. 28, 2008. The Tunnel to Towers is a fundraiser in tribute to Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who gave his life on Sept. 11, 2001. Siller ran from his vehicle in full firefighter gear from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center when he heard of the disaster over his scanner. Siller had just come off duty and was headed for a round of golf. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Staff Sgt. Paul R. Evans)
