Staff sergeant helps improve local communities, encourages others to follow
Staff Sgt. Elie Pean, 305th Security Forces Squadron patrolman and controller, works the night shift at the security forces headquarters building here Aug. 12. As an Airman, Sergeant Pean dispatches calls to fellow security forces members and keeps track of events that happen during his shift. When he’s not working security, Sergeant Pean is the president of the Marie T. Pean Foundation, in honor of his late mother, which empowers youth and local community members through education.
