Shawn May, a native of Horseheads, N.Y., checks on the status of avialable blood during the Global Medic exercise which is a portion of the Army Reserves Combat Support Training Exercise led by the 78th Training Division at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. During Global Medic, the 865th Combat Support Hospital, headquartered in Utica, N.Y., personnel were joined by all branches of service in addition to Canadian military medical professionals.
