AMW still hard at work
Tech. Sgt. Scott Langevin, 305th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron flying crew chief, walks the right wing of a C-17 Globemaster III to inspect for a hydraulic leak Oct. 4, 2013, on McGuire Field at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. The flightline is still operating 24/7 despite the loss of civilian and air reserve technicians. "We will always be here to get the mission done, but we have felt the loss of our civilian and ART counterparts," said Master Sgt. Nathan Johnson, 305th AMXS production superintendent. "The average Airmen on the flightline has about four years of experience whereas the others have upwards of 12." (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Ryan Throneberry/Released)
