305th AMW fuels Polar Roar
A B-52 Stratofortress from Minot Air Force Base, N.D., approaches a KC-10 Extender, from the 305th Air Mobility Wing, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. to receive fuel during Polar Roar in the skies over the North Pole, July 31. Polar Roar is a strategic deterrence exercise, involved four aircraft platforms from nine Air Force Bases and was conducted in three different theaters.
