100 miles rucked for 9/11
U.S. Air Force Maj. Jon Leetch, Columbus Air Force Base, Miss. 41st Flying Training Squadron instructor pilot, hands off an American flag to Paul Vorbeck, 9/11 Memorial and Museum director of security, after the 100 mile ruck from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey to New York City Sept. 11, 2019. Throughout the 100 miles, participants took turns carrying a prisoner of war/missing in action flag along with an American flag that served in Afghanistan to commemorate the individuals who lost their lives during the attacks.
