Aircraft Structural Maintenance create parts to keep aircraft flying
Malcolm Hartsfield, 305th Maintenance Squadron Fabrication Flight aircraft structural maintenance craftsman, places tape over an object in preparation for a new coat of paint on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, Oct. 16, 2019. Before applying a new coat of paint, corrosion is removed from the items by using various chemicals and mechanical methods to prolong the life or parts or items.
