USAF Surgeon General visits Joint Base MDL
Lt. Gen. Dorothy Hogg, U.S. Air Force Surgeon General, laughs with members from the 87th Medical Group during a tour at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Nov. 21, 2019. Hogg toured different units within the MDG and learned of innovations and new systems the team has implemented to provide quality patient care. A new program the MDG is implementing is Sick Call; a system for Active Duty military members to receive immediate care on non-emergent illnesses in an effort to alleviate appointment loads and wait times for care.
