Soldiers provide care for JB MDL
Spc. Kyree Loyd, Joint Base MDL Veterinary Services food inspection specialist, takes the temperature of goods at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Nov. 18, 2020. The Public Health Activity, Fort Belvoir, is responsible for veterinary medical and surgical care and conducts food safety and defense measures to enhance the quality of life for members on base. Food inspection professionals oversee the approval of food sources in 35 facilities on base to prevent consumers from buying food with defects and ensure the food won’t make them sick.
