Lakehurst community pays respect to Hindenburg disaster
A moment of silence is taken after the Wreath Presentation during the Hindenburg Memorial Ceremony, May 6, 2021, at the crash site on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. The ceremony marked the 84th anniversary of the airship disaster, and commemorated the lives lost to the Hindenburg tragedy, as well as all U.S. Army and Navy airship losses.
