P-38 Lithograph Donation
211129-F-BW403-1055 McGuire Air Force Base Senior Leadership pose with a donated P-38 lithograph at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Nov 29, 2021. The lithograph donated by Mr. David Tinker originally came from his father who flew in the same Squadron as Major Tommy B. McGuire, Jr., the namesake of McGuire AFB. With his father's passing, he felt finding a new home for his father's limited edition lithograph was appropriate. The lithograph has the original signatures of thirteen members of the 475th Fighter Group including Colonel Charles MacDonald, who was McGuire's commanding officer in the Pacific during World War II.
