605th AMXS dedicates heritage room to fallen Airman

Airmen assigned to the 605th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and family members of Staff Sgt. Franklin Kaunang recite the Airman’s Creed in remembrance of Franklin on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., May 16, 2022. The ceremony was held to unveil the Franklin Maintenance Heritage Room. Kaunang spent four years as a crew chief with the 605th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron until he retrained to become a flight engineer on C-130s.
