ASA Dix dedicates building to WWII veteran
A plaque of John Edward Dimon is unveiled during a dedication ceremony on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Jul. 7, 2022. The Military Schools Building was dedicated to John E. Dimon, a New Jersey native who enlisted in the U.S. Army during WWII, where he earned the rank of major. Dimon later served his community as a civic leader, serving as a founding member of the Burlington County Military Affairs Committee and member of the NJ state senate, until his death in 1993.
