SAPR honors SAAPM to raise awareness and prevention

Two displays of the Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month proclamations sit inside the Halvorsen Hall dining facility at the SAAPM proclamation signing on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Apr. 6, 2023. The SAAPM proclamation signing is an event that Joint Base MDL leadership and members of the joint base community come together to promote the prevention of sexual violence and provide protection and support to the victims and survivors of interpersonal violence around the joint base. April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. Joint Base MDL observes this month by raising awareness to prevent sexual assault and harassment and to provide resources and victim support to educate the public.
