JB MDL holds Navy chief pinning ceremony

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Luis Cuevas is promoted to Master Sgt. during a Navy Chief Petty Officer pinning ceremony Sept. 29, 2023 at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. The rank of Master Sgt. is the first rank in the U.S. Air Force senior non-commissioned officer tier and signifies the transition from first-line supervisor to being a leader of teams.
