Out with the old, in with the new: New PAR system at JB MDL
The Precision Approach Radar 2000 is set to be replaced by the AN/FPN-68 PAR at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., July 16, 2025. Radar, Airfield and Weather System technicians from the 305th Operations Support Squadron, as well as civilian and Department of Defense contractors, removed the old PAR 2000 system so that the new AN/FPN-68 PAR can support U.S. Marine’s assigned to the Marine Aircraft Group 49.
