The 2008 McGuire Air Expo is scheduled to resume Sunday after severe thunderstorms suspended the event Saturday.

Sunday's performances will include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, Matt Chapman Eagle 580, the Geico Skytypers, and the U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle Tactical Demonstration Team. A large number of current and former military aircraft, including the base's own KC-10 Extender and C-17 Globemaster III, will also be on display.

Gates will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily with performances beginning at 11 a.m. Static displays will also be open all day. Admission and parking are free.

"We're expecting great weather and great performances at Sunday's air expo," said Col. Balan Ayyar, 305th Air Mobility Wing commander. "I personally invite the community to come out to see the amazing things the Air Force has to offer. We hope to see everyone there!"
