Team McGuire to Host First Interfaith Holiday Celebration

  • By 301107
McGuire Air Force Base will host its inaugural Interfaith Holiday Celebration by lighting both the base Christmas tree and the first candle of its Menorah
Dec. 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. here.

This community-building celebration will allow Team McGuire to recognize its cultural diversity within the Air Force - a vital aspect to enhancing mission excellence and continuing its growth as America's premier joint warfighting base.
In keeping with both the holiday spirit and friendly competition, squadrons throughout the base have been creating "Squadron Holiday Card Contest" greetings, made from plywood, for the base community to enjoy and exhibit its unity.

During the festivities, the contest winners will be recognized. Other features will include singing, praying and the arrival of Santa Claus. In addition, the Northern Burlington County Girl Scouts will sing carols and serve refreshments.
