Single Service Members 'dive' into the BOSS Program

The BOSS program provides activities to single service members in the dorms, single parents, and geographical bachelors. These events include life skills, outdoor recreation, leisure activities, and community service opportunities.

JB MDL brings back 'Power in the Pines' after Five-Year Hiatus

Power in the Pines returned after a five-year hiatus with the Air and Space Open House from 19-21 May, 2023, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. The ASOH is the largest public event held at JB MDL, showcasing air superiority from both the ground and sky. The flight line also displayed a variety of aircraft from many services of the military, as well as their guard and reserve components. These visuals served as a representation of JB MDL’s commitment to working with Joint Partners daily to support our national defense, and to thank the local community for its continued support.

Col. Mitchell Wisniewski: Commanding Joint Force Convergence and the Road Ahead

The Army Aviation Facility Project was a MILCON effort valued at 11.7 million dollars and made possible through the joint effort of ASA Fort Dix and the U.S. Marine Corps Marine Aircraft Group 49. The 2100 square foot building is host to an Army Ramp Management Area which provides a wide range of capabilities for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft such as the C-130, CH-47S, and UH-60S. The addition of the new Army Ramp will provide enhanced load out and aviation operation training capabilities, parking for Army aviation aircraft, refueling, troop movement and flight planning operations for approximately 216,000 people that use JB MDL to meet readiness requirements.
