Space Available seats are often limited, therefore, passenger planning and flexibility is key to Space Available travel out of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

C-21 and C-12 type aircraft have a 30 lb baggage allowance. C-130, C-17, C-5, KC-10, and KC-135 have a baggage allowance of 140 lbs total weight (70 lbs each). C-9 and C-40 aircraft bags cannot exceed 50 lbs total weight.

Long Term Parking-
Available for 60 days at a time at the parking center. Passes are required and can be obtained at the passenger terminal.
AMC Travel

ATTENTION: Eligible family members and DoD civilians on official travel to Germany, Japan and the Republic of Korea must have either a 1. Special Issuance Passport or, 2. As a temporary exception, a regular (blue tourist) passport and memorandum from a DoD passport agent stating the SIP application was submitted prior to departing from the point of origin. The memorandum must include the following information: Each applicant’s full name, date of SIP submission, country of travel for PCS/TDY/TAD, and DoD VPAS ID. For a limited time, boarding a flight while on official travel status with a regular passport is permissible only with the this exception memo. 


NOTE: This temporary exception—allowing official travel on a regular passport with exception memo (in lieu of a SIP)—will expire on Sept. 30, 2021. Effective Oct. 1, 2021, official travel must be conducted with a SIP.
