87th LRS Hosts Inaugural Cross-Utilization Course

The course was developed to implement Air Force Force Generation principles and support operational concepts such as Agile Combat Employment through 10 days of intensive training. The collaboration between 87th LRS, 373rd Training Squadron, Detachment 301, and 305th Air Mobility Wing personnel enabled the use of Multi-Capable Airmen Concepts by building their proficiency, knowledge, and comfort in different Air Force Specialty Codes.

U.S. Army Aviation Ramp MILCON Amplifies Readiness and Sustainment Capabilities

The Army Aviation Facility Project was a MILCON effort valued at 11.7 million dollars and made possible through the joint effort of ASA Fort Dix and the U.S. Marine Corps Marine Aircraft Group 49. The 2100 square foot building is host to an Army Ramp Management Area which provides a wide range of capabilities for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft such as the C-130, CH-47S, and UH-60S. The addition of the new Army Ramp will provide enhanced load out and aviation operation training capabilities, parking for Army aviation aircraft, refueling, troop movement and flight planning operations for approximately 216,000 people that use JB MDL to meet readiness requirements.
