Hackensack Police Department Youth Academy visits Joint Base MDL

— Class participants from the Hackensack Police Department Youth Academy came to visit Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on August 10th. The Hackensack P.D. Youth Academy is a weeklong event that provides seventh to twelfth grade class participants the opportunity to learn about the experiences inside the military and police force. This event consists of showing demonstrations of various military drills, physical training exercises, and K-9 training and handling. Hackensack P.D. Det. — On March 25, the Chapter 211 of the Air Force Sergeants Association celebrated Women’s History Month on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, in highlighting achievements and contributions from women in history and contemporary society, especially those that served or serve in the military. With over 25 years of military service, Wynne is fully prepared to take on this position to successfully lead Joint Base MDL into the future. Wynne is joined by his wife Andrea, sons Austin and Cory, and their Boston terrier Gizmo. Since the start of his military career in August 1996, Wynne progressed from being an aircraft maintainer to a squadron superintendent at the 730th Air Mobility Squadron, Yokota Air Force Base, Japan. Edward Jester, made a visit to the 305th Air Mobility Wing headquarters, along with his wife, Sadie, to commemorate his father's wartime service under the CAN DO Wing, on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Nov. 18, 2021.
